ARCH101
Diagram

For basics design class Arch 101, we needed to draw diagrams of the structures we created to explian our strategy, and these are the results.
An architectural diagram is a visual representation used to convey design concepts, relationships, and systems within a project. It simplifies complex ideas by breaking them into organized, esay to understand visuals. Diagrams can depict spatial relationships, functional zones, circulation patterns, structural systems,or environmentel strategies. They are often abstract, using symbols, lines, and shapes to communicate ideas rather than detailed drawings.Architectural diagrams are essential tools for analysis, presentation, and design development.
Site visit to METU
In our Arch 101 class, we had a site visit to METU, where we were introduced to the concepts of "hinge" and "threshold." To better understand these concepts, we were asked to capture photographs related to them.
Hinge is related to how one element combines with another element and how it continues thereafter , while Threshold defines the connection of two different concepts through a transition.

Final Jury-RIFF

Our Arch 101 final jury project, RIFF ,you're investigating the concept of rhythm and repetition in architectural design, drawing inspiration from the spontaneous and evolving nature of musical improvisation.
The project emphasizes modularity where elements can be rearranged or replicated allowing for variations that contribute to an adaptable and flexible design. This approach allows the structure to evolve dynamically, much like how a musical piece transforms through improvisation, while maintaining a harmonious balance between its components. The resulting composition aims to create a fluid, responsive architectural experience.
